Well, models, of course...

Please read ALL of the words on this page, some are quite important.

For my next few books, well, at least two. I am looking for Nude Female Models. Now calm down, let me explain.

I need fit, in-proportion ladies for Artistic Nude work. I don't care what you look like, as long as you're slim, (ANYTHING above size 0, whatever that means), reasonably fit and in proportion, oh, and willing to get naked in front of me and my camera. Seriously, large, small, petite, eh, rotund, you name it, it's all about proportion. Don't care about colour either!

I need models for Classic Nude work, (think Greek Statues). I also need models for Nude Parts work, (Naked and photographed a bit at a time if you like). I also require Nude Models for Anonymous work, (Naked but no face, or distinguishing marks, although birthmarks and tattoos can be removed if required in the computer later). If you take a look at my New Work Gallery on my other site , you'll see what I am on about. Oh yeh, and I probably need a guy or two in there too, but they must, that's MUST be superbly toned, oh and naked... calm down, chances are you will NOT be working with the ladies, well maybe one or two, but this isn't a dating agency!

Oh, and I'm also preparing for an Art-Erotica series. Almost ALL will be Anonymous, but some will not. Ask if you are confused, I know I am!

ALL shoots will be covered by Model Releases, BOTH the Model and Photographer will have a signed copy of the description of the shoot and what can and cannot be done with the images, by either parties. If someone told you never to sign one of these, they're WRONG !

I will have a need for a model or two who is VERY proficient in Yoga, and a DANCER (classical, ballet, even contemporary, NOT Lap or Pole, and probably not Burlesque, :).

ALL shoots will be in the Greenock area, or in Glasgow City Centre.

I love Ink and Metal, I hate fake boobs. I love mad keen models, I hate no-shows. I think it’s cool if the model is on the same wavelength when I describe the sort of work I am doing. I like models to buy into my ideas. I also like models who say NO when they should ! Honestly! I like models with some ideas of their own, I hate airheads. I like models who talk, (if they can get a word in), I hate models who bring arses with them to a shoot(male OR female). I like to count my models as my friends, a shoot IS a business arrangement, but when the shoot is over, I like to be considered a friend, not just someone who took their piccies one day.

One of the most important things you need to know is, I WILL NOT SHOOT MODELS UNDER 18 for my Nude work, NO arguments !!! If you look under 18, bring proof of age, if you don't, then it's goodbye and thanks for all the fish.

One or two rules. MOST of my work is Nude. When I say Nude, I mean NUDE, not hiding this or that bit, although some images will require some bits to be hidden. This is NOT porn, and I will be deeply offended if you call it porn! You'll need to be aware that you will be, for a good portion of the shoot completely Naked! Chaperones are welcome as long as they don't mind sitting outside, or, on the very odd occasion where I let them in, as long as they realise that they are NOT part of the shoot. I'm shooting the model, NOT anyone else, they have NO say in what is going on. If you think your partner, husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend, sister, brother, won't like this, then DON'T bring them! If I feel they are intruding, I'll stop the shoot. Oh, and bring someone who won't react adversely when they see you naked.

I'm always looking for new Portrait Models too. NON-Nude models get to keep their clothes on, if they wish. I WON'T force you to remove them, I may beg, but I DO NOT go beyond any Models comfort zone or stated limits, EVER! Oh, and, portrait models seldomly get paid, unless they're spectacular and the photographer is working for some face cream client or other...

I'm not actively looking for models for portrait work, but if you like my style, just let me know and we'll have a shoot. You may even get to keep your clothes on, hurrumph...

Or, What the hell am I up to these days?

I have plans for another two books. I'll be shooting mostly black and white images. Almost entirely full of Nudes, and most of them will be Women, I dunno, call me heterosexual or something...

I will be looking for at least 6 - 8 models with whom I'll be working quite a lot throughout the year. I need full nudes, part nudes, part covered nudes, a LOT of anonymous nudes, yeh and I suppose a couple of guys here and there too, if I can find any, the right shape. Above all you MUST be Professional.

ALL of the stuff I shoot until further notice will be for these books. I DO NOT plaster piccies of people all over the web on model or photography or any other kind of sites, I may post one or two on Deviantart, and possibly on Model Mayhem, but then again, probably not. If I do want to use your images for anything other than my books, and my websites, I'll ask for your permission first. Also all shoots are covered by Model Releases, all shoots will be paid, full rates, after a test shoot. (I need to see your shape in various light / poses first). I also don't do shoots just because you ask, or because you saw me on some site or other and thought it would be cool for us to work together.

Have a look at the stuff I have on my sites, it’s all gentle, non-porn nudity, (MY opinion), and I won't be changing anything in that respect any time soon. If you recognise any of the models in my piccies, please feel free to contact them and ask if I'm a mad mad axeman or anything ...

If you're not interested in nude work, then, ho hum, YOU're the boss. BUT my other work will be taking priority for the foreseeable future.
